So it’s taken me a little while to actually make this initial post. For all of you wondering what the hell has been going on around here, this is the new name of the previous JonathanMead.com. So if you tried going to the old domain and were wondering why you were brought here, rest assured, it’s still me.
By now, you probably know what I meant, when I said I couldn’t illuminate anything yet. I wanted to wait a little while to make the announcement of the new blog, and to give the previous post more exposure. Maybe there’s a way I could have planned that better. I don’t know.
This launch couldn’t have been possible without the generous help of many friends. Thank you Charlie and Peter for all your technical help with transitioning. You’ve been invaluable. Thanks Clay, Naomi, my Wife, Alex and everyone else who helped me re-brand. And thank you to Jemi, Luciano, Mary, Al, Shilpan, Evelyn, Akemi, Shann, Tim, Tina, and Tom (I didn’t order them like that on purpose, I swear) for helping me get the word out. You are simply awesome.
So I’d love to hear your feedback. What do you think about the new blog, direction, design?
I’ll be back to posting regularly tomorrow… stay tuned. =)

This blog looks awesome. I’m humbled to be part of your inner circle. I’m equally humbled for the mention in this post. Please let me know if I can help with anything appropriate. :)

I love the design. I never saw the old one as your previous post was the one that brought me to this lovely little place. I must say that was the first time I’ve read such a long post all the way through. But I am definitely a fan. *subscribed*

I like the new logo – it looks more catchy than the previous one! The title to your blog is also aligned to your new domain name.
Still, I must add that whether new or old domain, I would have supported you all the same :-) It’s the content and the essence of who you are that is the most important!
To your online success,
Evelyn

I think it’s great. I love the new design, and reading your last point, about the journey you’ve been on, was really great.
I’m new to your blog compared to most people around here, but I agree with Evelyn about the content and your essence.
Looking forward to more posts!

Thanks guys for your feedback. There’s still a few kinks I need to work out, I’m just glad the initial launch is behind me now. It was a lot of work, but well worth the effort I think.
Jon Bishop,
You wouldn’t be the DJ Jon Bishop would you? =) Thanks for subscribing, it’s good to have you here.
Alaia,
I haven’t seen you here before either, it’s great to have you around.
Tim,
Only time will tell I suppose. I don’t plan on leaving it to luck though.

Hey Jonathan,
That you were a great writer we all already knew. This new site comes to prove that you’re also a great designer — it’s looking really good!
Congrats, buddy!

Hi Jonathan,
I echo the compliments that the previous commenters made. The new blog has a very good aesthetic design, and you indeed came out with some awesome articles. Keep up the awesome work!

Ha ha. I’m still fighting off the rest of the world for rights to my own name however alas I am not the DJ Jon Bishop. I’m the other guy.
